Emoticons speak more than words ;)x

We often use emoticons in our online conservation, though sometimes I've got the tendency to insert them in my school essays :P:P

In the past, silence was considered to be the greatest art of conversation.. But now wit the increase use of IM & emails, the use of emoticons have considerably increase...

Sometimes while chatting on fb or msn, when we do not know what to say or how to xpress ourselves, we often use emoticons...

Indeed, emoticons are not only graphical symbols, but are important means of communication :)

  1. That's so true. Instead of saying "A picture is worth 1000 words", the newer generation can change it to "An emoticon is work 1000 words".

Sometimes it do happen that emoticons get into the way when dealing through mails withing team members.
However, you should take care to control the use of this 'language' as apart from shortening the length of messages and bringing some lively spirit into communication, emoticons won't bring you anywhere in the professional life.

  2. Yeah that's true! But the way life's goin, I bet in the next few decades, much stuffs would change in the Pro Life! At least, in the IT sector! :)
